Iman is the manager, instructor, and guide of Beyond Bounds Adventure Company. He lives in Texas, and holds a master’s, and Ph.D. in sports management. Additionally, he earned his second master’s degree as top student in tourism management and a graduate certificate in adventure tourism from Colorado State University. Iman’s research interests focus on people’s pro-environmental behavior, nature-based tourism, visitor management, and parks and protected area management. With over 15 years of extensive experience as a professional tour guide and leader, Iman has worked worldwide, from the Middle East to Nepal and China, and from Mexico to Alaska. His expertise ranges from cultural tours to highly adventurous expeditions in the Himalayas. As a seasoned mountaineering, rock climbing, and ice climbing instructor, Iman is passionate about helping others connect with nature and enjoy the wilderness. Believing that connecting with nature can improve people’s lives, Iman founded Beyond Bounds Adventure Company to facilitate outdoor experiences for all. He has always dreamed of encouraging others to connect with nature and enjoy the wilderness.
Marjan is one of the key members of our team at Beyond Bounds Adventure. With a deep passion for travel and adventure, Marjan is an avid climber who thrives in even the harshest climates and highest altitudes. Marjan is a calm and joyful person who loves hiking and skiing. Whenever she has free time, you can often find her in Colorado hiking up or skiing down. Her favorite place in the USA is Mount Baker in Washington, where she enjoys sitting above the clouds and soaking in the beauty of the mountain. Her expertise goes beyond her love for the mountains; she holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, making her the perfect fit for our search and trip planning services. Marjan’s dedication to leveraging AI technology ensures that every adventure we offer is meticulously tailored to provide the best experience for our customers. Eli has had the travel bug since childhood. Her mother would take her to her home country of Peru every year from the time she was born, and when she became an adult, she continued her travels. The easiest way for Eli to keep moving was to relocate to different places and find work there. She began this journey at 20 years old and has since lived in Paris, Lima, New York City, Maui, Hanoi, multiple cities in Australia, Colorado, and Texas, where she was born, raised, and attended Texas A&M University. Throughout her travels, Eli has always sought out nature and outdoor activities. She gravitates towards camping and thru-hiking but is enthusiastic about almost any adventure—scuba diving, surfing, kayaking, biking, white water rafting, rock climbing, and more. In Australia, Eli managed a scuba diving boat to help people learn and enjoy diving. Helping people enjoy the outdoors or discover new and exciting cultures is one of her favorite things to do!
Josh grew up in Tasmania, Australia, where being outdoors was the norm. Ever since he can remember, he was camping, fishing, hiking, and swimming in the ocean. Not much has changed since then. Now, in all his hobbies and jobs, being outdoors is a necessity, whether working on a scuba diving boat or hiking in Nepal for three months straight. Josh truly believes there isn’t anything better than enjoying nature with great people, and he is passionate about sharing this belief with as many people as he can. As a seasoned traveler, Josh has extensive knowledge of many countries worldwide, including New Zealand, Fiji, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Nepal, Iran, Turkey, Georgia, and almost all European countries. His wealth of experience and love for the outdoors make him an exceptional tour guide, ready to inspire and lead others on unforgettable adventures.
Arman is a seasoned athlete and professional in the mountaineering field with over two decades of experience. He specializes in Himalayan climbing and alpinism, having successfully tackled some of the most challenging and technical peaks globally, including Manaslu, Gasherbrum, Broad Peak, Ama Dablam, Khan Tengri, Muztagh Ata, and Lenin Peak, spanning the Himalaya, Karakoram, and Tian Shan mountain ranges. Arman is not only an accomplished mountaineer but also a highly skilled coach and guide. He offers expertise in rock climbing, ice climbing, canyoning, caving, and mountain skiing. In addition to his mountaineering expertise, Arman is a paraglider pilot with hike-and-flight experience. His achievements have earned him several international medals, including a silver medal in Nepal and bronze medals in Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan. Arman possesses a deep understanding of nature and a unique ability to connect with local communities, making him an exceptional guide on our team. His skills and experience ensure that every adventure tour becomes an unforgettable experience for our clients.
